Purpose of the Site

This site was created by three students at the UT iSchool as a school project. The site is designed to present users with potential reference resources for assisting patrons in academic, public, school libraries with questions related to biology.

For the purpose of this assignment, we've defined biology as the study life and living organisms. Because biology covers such an array of information, it can be subdivided into many categories, and questions related to biology can come in many different forms. This guide looks at resources that could be used to help children, young adults, and adults with a broad range of biology related queries.
